South Morang to Hurstbridge (via Strathewen)

A 60.4 km ride from South Morang through the rural hills around Strathewen and Hurstbridge, finishing back in the Mernda area. The route trades suburban surroundings for rolling countryside before returning toward Melbourne's northern fringe.

Allow for about 405 m of climbing, some unsealed riding and sections shared with road traffic. Carry supplies and take care on descents. The finish is north of the starting point, so check the map and plan the short connection back if you need a full return ride.
