Route Description
A 58.3 km loop from Webb Bridge that links Melbourne's northern creek trails with a cheese-and-coffee stop at That's Amore Cheesery in Thomastown. Head north through Docklands and the Moonee Ponds Creek and Upfield connections, follow Merri Creek and the M80 corridor, then return via Darebin Creek, Fairfield and the Inner Circle trail.
There is plenty to break up the day: the Footscray Road Cycling Bridge, an optional Pentridge heritage detour, The Nest sculpture in Darebin Parklands and the Yarra landmarks around Fairfield. Allow time for a café or deli stop at the Cheesery.
The ride is mostly paved, with about 3% unpaved and modest climbing. The distance still calls for food and water; take care at road links and crossings, slow down around walkers and check low creek underpasses after rain. The Cheesery's verified regular hours are 8 am–4 pm daily, closed on public holidays except Easter Saturday.
