Route Description
A 25.3 km loop from Yarra Junction that combines the valley riding of the Lilydale–Warburton Rail Trail with the forested O'Shannassy Aqueduct Trail. The contrast between river flats and the higher, tree-lined aqueduct corridor gives this ride its character.
About two-thirds of the route is unpaved, with roughly 336 m of ascent and climbing on the connections between trails. Use a bike suited to gravel, give walkers plenty of space and check current park and trail conditions before setting out. Carry water and a weather layer.
